Frequently Asked Questions
What ages do you work with?
I work with babies and toddlers from the newborn stage until 5 years old. Every family's support is tailored to your baby's age, development, and your family's goals.
No, I don't believe in leaving babies alone to cry until they fall asleep. I use responsive, age-appropriate methods that teach independent sleep while respecting your baby's needs. Some tears can be part of learning a new skill, but my goal is always to support your family while keeping tears to a minimum.
How long does sleep training take?
Every baby is different, but many families begin seeing improvements within a few days. Most babies adapt to their new routine within 1–2 weeks, especially when the plan is followed consistently.
Some crying is completely normal when learning a new skill. I'll prepare you for what to expect and guide you through the process, so you feel confident every step of the way.
Will the plan be customized?
Absolutely. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to sleep. Your plan is personalized based on your baby's age, temperament, sleep history, and your parenting style.
Do you offer ongoing support?
Yes! You're not expected to figure everything out on your own. I'll be there to answer questions, troubleshoot challenges, and adjust the plan if needed.
Will I still be able to feed my baby at night?
Yes. If your baby still needs night feeds, we will include them in the plan. Sleep training does not automatically mean night weaning, and we always take your baby’s age, development, and needs into account when deciding what is appropriate.
What if the plan isn't working?
If something isn’t going as expected, we will take a closer look at what’s happening and adjust the plan so it better fits your baby and your family’s needs. I will guide you through any changes and troubleshooting during your support period so you’re not left trying to figure it out alone.
